Photos from our annual trip for the Seniors (Class of 2015) to study Tide Pool Zoology on Hermit Island, Maine, with 100 12th graders from Waldorf schools all over the northeast. We spent two hours each day in the tide pools, two hours in lecture, and two hours in lab, rain or shine. We camped in tents, cooked for each other, shared stories and songs around campfires, considered the wisdom of Rachel Carson, and… for the first time ever… trapped and released a red squirrel.
