Globe Sept 2025 – Volume 23, No. 1

EVERY SEPTEMBER, Berkshire Waldorf seniors travel to Hermit Island, Maine, to study tide pool zoology with several other Waldorf schools. This year’s trip was led by Ms. Stanton, Class of 2012, who said that her own 12th grade trip to Hermit Island was a highlight of her high school experience.

I am Phoebe Martel’s sister, and I am happy to announce Phoebe Martel and Zack Andringas’ engagement. They have been together for several years and have finally decided to settle down and live their lives together. Phoebe has taught science and math this past year, and she chaperoned the senior trip to Hermit Island last fall. Zack has also been involved with the school, chaperoning the trip to Germany in 2024.
