The event is free to the public, and generously supported by the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, Berkshire Waldorf High School, Stockbridge Library Museum & Archives, and The Mount.

Waldorf High School Graduates Class of 2014
On Sunday, June 8th, the Waldorf High School, Stockbridge, MA, graduated the Class of 2014, the eighth graduating class of the Waldorf High School, founded in 2002. Graduates include Justin Graeff of Pittsfield; Solomon Joffe, New Marlborough; Mac Litishin, Monterey; Nicholas Sagarin, Great Barrington; Arthur Seltzer, Great Barrington; Milena Stanton, Great Barrington; Henry Ward-Hanke, Lakeville, CT; and Esther Young, Hillsdale, NY.
The ceremony was held in the Kellogg Music Center at Simon’s Rock College of Bard. John McManus, on the teaching faculty in Speech and Drama at Point Park University, Pittsburg, PA, addressed the graduates with a fairy tale from Grimm’s, “The Three Feathers,” and decoded it with an exploration of success and failure, asking them, “like the fool in a fairy tale, to be open to an honest experience of the world.” Each of the students also addressed the assembled Board members, faculty, families, friends and classmates. Board Chair Alan Lombardi and Faculty Chair Stephen Sagarin, Ph.D., presented the graduates with their diplomas.
This fall, Joffe will attend Bennington College, where he plans to study architecture. Sagarin will study business at the University of Montana, Missoula; Seltzer will attend St. Johns College, Santa Fe, to pursue studies in the humanities. Stanton will attend Connecticut College to study psychology. Ward-Hanke will travel to Antarctica during a gap year before studying at Pratt Art Institute. Young will study photography at the School of Visual Arts, NYC. Graeff and Litishin will attend Berkshire Community College, where Graeff plans to pursue premedical studies, and Litishin to pursue computer science.

Your body contains a complex and wonderfully intricate system of electromagnetic interactions. Understanding how these technologies work is essential to minimizing negative effects on you and your family. We will investigate a number of common sources of wireless effects and also experience and discuss solutions to minimizing negative effects.
